No or limited impact to CelcomDigi services

PETALING JAYA, 20 July 2024 – CelcomDigi Berhad ("CelcomDigi”) reported no or limited impact to customers and its operations during the global IT outage caused by CrowdStrike yesterday.

The company said network services were unaffected, and that its customers were able to use their data and voice services as normal. Some disruption was experienced on its support services, such as reload capabilities, for which service recovery teams were immediately deployed to setup workarounds, offering customers alternatives to continue reloading during this period.  

The company will continue monitoring its network and support services to ensure customers continue to enjoy CelcomDigi services seamlessly.  

Customers who feel they have been impacted are encouraged to call our support hotline for help (Celcom: 019 601 1111, Digi: 016 2211 800).
