NIM is the integration of existing Celcom and Digi networks into a single, combined network while modernising its infrastructure and services to elevate the overall user experience for customers.
Existing Celcom and Digi networks will be integrated, providing customers from both networks with access to an improved, single combined network. Post-integration, the network team will fine-tune the network to ensure a consistent network quality and experience in the newly integrated and modernised site.
You will be notified ahead of time via SMS alerts and through the CelcomDigi’s official website. Please check NIM for the latest updates on areas currently experiencing the NIM.
NIM is being conducted over three years in phases and is expected to be completed by end-2025.
No! Customers will not have to do anything and can continue enjoying a new-and-improved network experience once NIM is completed.
Many factors could cause your network to occasionally drop (i.e., network congestion, physical obstructions, interference, weather, etc). These issues affect all mobile users temporarily, regardless of the mobile service provider, and should be resolved quickly.
