Strategic collaboration aims to equip CelcomDigi employees with future-ready skills and industry-leading capabilities in AI, Data Analytics, 5G and Cloud technologies
PETALING JAYA, 3 NOVEMBER 2026 – Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd ("Huawei Malaysia") and CelcomDigi Berhad ("CelcomDigi") signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen digital talent development across CelcomDigi's workforce. Under the three-year partnership, Huawei Malaysia will leverage its global learning ecosystem and technology expertise to provide employees with access to advanced training, leadership development opportunities and industry-recognised certifications, helping them build proficiency in key growth areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, 5G and Cloud technologies. The initiative is expected to create broader opportunities for continuous learning, professional growth and career development across the organisation.
As AI and emerging technologies continue to transform industries, organisations must continuously evolve their capabilities to remain competitive and deliver greater value to customers. This collaboration supports CelcomDigi's ambition to build a future-ready workforce equipped to drive innovation, accelerate transformation and seize new opportunities in an increasingly digital economy.

Also present at the MoU signing ceremony was Mr Terry He, President of Huawei Asia Pacific and Azmi Ujang, Chief Human Resources Officer of CelcomDigi.
The collaboration will focus on strategic learning pathways designed to accelerate talent development across CelcomDigi. CelcomDigi employees will gain exposure to emerging technologies, innovation frameworks and industry use cases that support business growth, operational excellence and digital transformation. They will also have opportunities to attain globally recognised Huawei Malaysia certifications across associate, professional and expert levels.
The MoU builds on a longstanding collaboration between Huawei Malaysia and CelcomDigi, which has previously included leadership programmes, professional certification initiatives, large-scale learning engagements, and technology-sharing sessions. Together, both organisations aim to nurture a competitive and future-ready workforce equipped with world-class digital skills, helping shape the digital services of tomorrow while advancing technological excellence across Malaysia.
