Real life stories celebrating CDzen’s meaningful acts of kindness and going the extra mile
PETALING JAYA, 28 August 2026 – In conjunction with Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia, CelcomDigi Berhad ("CelcomDigi") presents ‘Nadi Inspirasi Kami’, a special film inspired by the real-life experiences of its employees. At the heart of the film is a simple belief that CelcomDigi’s role extends beyond providing connectivity. It is about being part of the everyday moments that matter to customers, and the experiences that continue to inspire its employees. A reflection of the Malaysia we call home, ‘Nadi Inspirasi Kami’ celebrates the unique beauty of a nation shaped by diverse cultures, languages and communities, yet united by shared humanity.
Drawing from real customer interactions, ‘Nadi Inspirasi Kami’ shines a light on the empathy and understanding shown by CelcomDigi frontliners who voluntarily go the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of others. While each story is unique, all three reflect the human connections that continue to shape everyday life in Malaysia
The first story follows Parvinder Singh, for whom language is more than a means of communication. He speaks six languages and uses them to connect with people from different cultures and walks of life. Through simple conversations and everyday interactions, he helps people feel welcomed, understood and a little more at home, wherever they may be from.
The second story features Ruhanurbalqis Abdul Rahim from Ipoh. After learning that a customer had been involved in an accident, she knew being disconnected from loved ones would only add to an already difficult time. She then took the initiative to help him set up and register a new device at the hospital, helping him reconnect with family and friends while he focused on his recovery.
Completing the trio is Nur Amiza binti Mohamad from Kuala Terengganu. Growing up with deaf parents, she saw firsthand the barriers they faced in everyday life, where even simple conversations could become challenging. She learnt sign language from a young age and today continues to use those skills to champion more inclusive communication. Her story in the film shows how being willing to understand someone else's experience can help break down barriers and create a stronger sense of belonging.
Chan May Ling, CelcomDigi's Head of Brand and Marketing Services, said, “What makes these stories special is that they are not extraordinary acts performed by extraordinary people. They are simple acts of care driven by a genuine desire to help. Whether it is helping someone reconnect or creating a greater sense of inclusion, these moments show how small actions can have a lasting impact on someone's life.”
“At CelcomDigi, we are privileged to be part of our customers’ lives and the moments that matter to them. We believe that Malaysia’s diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and that meaningful connections are built through understanding and mutual respect. These stories remind us that beyond connectivity, there is empathy and care that help to create positive impacts in the communities we serve. As we celebrate Hari Kebangsaan and Hari Malaysia, we hope ‘Nadi Inspirasi Kami’ inspires greater appreciation for the difference they can make through even the simplest gestures,” she added.
