CelcomDigi engages 30,000 Malaysians on its annual Customer Obsessed Day

PETALING JAYA, 28 November 2024 – Over 3,500 CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”) employees took to the streets across the country today, engaging and appreciating 30,000 Malaysians as part of its annual Customer Obsessed Day (COD). COD has become a key event in CelcomDigi’s yearly calendar, signalling the company’s and its employees’ strong commitment to delivering customer excellence.

This year’s COD activities were geared towards fostering meaningful connections with customers, by listening and gathering first-hand feedback on their service experience, helping customers better understand the company’s products, and appreciating customers for their continue support.

CelcomDigi Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Idham Nawawi said, “Customer obsession is a shared responsibility for all CDzens, every single day, embedded in everything we do and every decision we make. COD is a symbolic day where CDzens live out this accountability together, engaging directly with customers to gather their feedback on what matters to them, which helps us to deliver superior customer experience to meet their evolving digital needs. Datuk Idham, alongside the rest of the CelcomDigi management team and the over 3,500-strong army of CDzens, actively engaged with customers throughout the day.

To celebrate this special occasion, the company updated its network operator name for all devices to ‘MY CelcomDigi’. This change signifies a commitment to delivering an elevated network experience on the new CelcomDigi intelligent digital network. With nearly 70% of its nationwide network integration and modernisation exercise completed, the company is on track to conclude this exercise by 2025.
