Farina Farikhullah Khan has over 30 years of working experience, predominantly in the oil and gas industry with more than 20 years in the executive capacity and the last 10 years in Non- Executive Director role.
She was previously the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Petronas Chemical Group Berhad. Prior to that, she served as the CFO of Petronas Exploration and Production Business where the business includes Petroleum Management Unit of Petronas as well as Petronas Carigali Group of companies. Her first CFO role was in 2005 as the CFO of Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd Group of companies, one of the largest subsidiaries of Petronas with operations in over 20 countries.
She started out her career with Coopers & Lybrand, Australia in the Business Services unit whereby she provided assistance and advisory services on accounting, audit, tax requirements and business services. In 1997, she returned to Malaysia to join Petronas in the Corporate Planning and Development Division where she started as an executive and in the ensuing years, she held various positions including Senior Manager (Strategy and Portfolio) in Group Strategic Planning of Petronas.
Since 2016, she has served on various Boards including previously as Chairman of Ambank Islamic Berhad and Non- Executive Director at AMMB Holdings Bhd.
Farina Farikhullah Khan currently is the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Petronas Gas Berhad and KLCC Property Holdings Berhad, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Lianson Fleet Group Berhad.
She is also the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of EnQuestPlc, a foreign company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Farina Farikhullah Khan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants in Australia. She has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, United States of America.
