PETALING JAYA, 25 March 2025 – CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”) today unveiled Arena CelcomDigi, a new initiative designed to promote active lifestyles and serve as a unifying platform that connects Malaysians through sports. Through Arena CelcomDigi, the company aims to raise awareness of multiple sports from diverse disciplines, nurture aspiring athletes with opportunities for national or international exposure and enhance public participation.

To kickstart the initiatives, CelcomDigi has identified three sports to support in 2025 – e-sports, Pickleball and lawn bowl.
For e-sports, CelcomDigi is the official sponsor for Malaysia’s top e-sports teams - CelcomDigi Alliance in PUBG and Selangor Red Giants (SRG) in MLBB. This collaboration will see CelcomDigi organising Future Pros Bootcamp, a structured training program to develop young talent, and the Healthy Gaming Campaign, a nationwide school tour promoting responsible gaming habits and digital well-being amongst school students.
Beyond the digital space, CelcomDigi is championing Pickleball through a partnership with ESM Pickters Club, launching coaching clinics, community outreach programs, and regional tournaments to make the sport more accessible. Additionally, CelcomDigi is supporting lawn bowls, where Malaysia holds the world’s No. 1 ranking, through a collaboration with the Malaysia Lawn Bowls Federation. This partnership will drive school-based initiatives, community clinics, and specialised training programmes to sustain and grow the sport’s prominence.
