CelcomDigi Skuad 5G: Stress tests and customer engagement on Malaysia’s newest 5G-ready digital network

July 26, 2024

PETALING JAYA, 26 July 2024 – CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”) has deployed specialised teams of network engineers, known as Skuad 5G, tasked to stress test its network nationwide and ensure service levels match desired ambitions and quality standards. This initiative is part of the ongoing network integration and modernisation (NIM) exercise to build Malaysia’s leading digital network.

Skuad 5G activities involve CelcomDigi’s management and senior leaders embarking on a nationwide customer engagement exercise to actively gather direct feedback on their network experience. During the engagement the teams conduct network speed tests and customer satisfaction dialogues at various locations in areas that have undergone NIM.

Earlier this week, CelcomDigi’s Skuad 5G team tested its newly modernised network in Penang, following the completion of NIM in the state. Prior to this, leaders have also gone across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya meeting customers and dealers while checking the network performance in the region. These activities will continue to the eastern and southern regions in the coming months, as part of the company’s commitment to closely monitor its network performance and deliver a high-quality, consistent network experience for all Malaysians.
