CelcomDigi debuts for its Customer Engagement Day to connect with customers

PETALING JAYA, 25 October 2023 – On the back of its recent corporate brand launch, CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) has mobilised its 3,800-strong team of passionate CelcomDigi employees (CDzens) nationwide for its inaugural Customer Engagement Day (CED). The event saw CDzens took the streets in key market centres across Malaysia to connect and engage with customers and Malaysians in general to introduce the company’s new brand logo while promoting CelcomDigi 5G device plan and home fibre offers.

CelcomDigi’s first CED was centred around the three fundamental principles which drive the company’s brand spirit of “Creating a world inspired by you”, namely dynamism, passion for customers and excellence. The day offers an opportunity for CDzens to actively interact with customers in a meaningful way - getting honest feedback on their experience with CelcomDigi and their expectations.

CelcomDigi’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Idham Nawawi said that this first CelcomDigi CED symbolises the company’s on-going commitment towards being a brand that customers can trust and rely on in this age of ‘digital-everything’.

“Since the merger in December 2022, CelcomDigi has strived to ensure that our customers are not impacted by the merger activities by integrating our sales and retail operations, and cross serving both Celcom and Digi customers right from the beginning. Now, with the launch of our new corporate brand, we further strengthen this commitment by continuously looking for innovative ways to engage customers and enhance the way we serve them, ensuring our new brand is relatable to more Malaysians.

“What better way for us to ‘walk the talk’ and live the principle of having passion for customers by hitting the ground and engaging with them, getting to know their needs and pain points as a way to improve and deliver better customer experiences,” said Datuk Idham who also took part in the event together with other members of CelcomDigi Management team.
